Hey there! As we start a new year and a new decade, I wanted to take a minute and re-introdue myself. I'm Courtney, and I love photography.
Behind the camera, I am lucky to be married to the person who loves me and all my imperfections (Lord knows there are plenty). He has been my biggest supporter over the last 20 years, both for my business and in our personal lives. I mean how cool is it that he agreed to take me to Disney World to celebrate our 15 year anniversary? He keeps me laughing and grounded, and I couldn't love him more!
I am also the mommy to three kiddos, and three fur babies. Between basketball, skateboarding, slumber parties and crafting, they keep me busy. Next year I will have one at each level; elementary, middle school, and high school! If you follow me long enough, you will see lots of pictures of them (especially the girls), as I tend to bribe them with Starbucks to be models when I have a new vision or technique I want to try out.
I've been a photographer for over 10 years, and have had my studio for the past three years. I started off doing weddings and seniors, and after having my babies, my love for newborn photography grew. Now I specialize in maternity through the first year of baby's life. I still shoot the occasional wedding, but only a limited few a year.
My favorite thing about photography is being able to offer my clients unique, heirloom art work. I love getting to sit down with my clients and design gallery walls where they will be proud to display their portraits for years to come. I love being able to see the look on their faces when I hand them high quality framed art of their baby or family. I love seeing albums laying on their coffee table. I love that I am able to provide them with tangible, beautiful work that will tell the story of their family for years to come.
