Frequency separation is a way to edit skin and still keep the texture and some of the finer details. There are lots of different ways it can be done, but in this version I will show how it can be done in Photoshop Elements. For those that know me, you know I'm an Elements purist. I can't justify spending the extra money on PS CC when Elements does what I need it to. Plus, I like the challenge of finding work arounds for Elements. If you are just starting out, or are frugal like me, Elements is a great way to go.
